Thank you to Professor Andrew Waterhouse for all he has done for the department and the university.  He will be retiring at the end of June 2022.  He has served as department chair, Associate Dean of Graduate Studies, and, most recently, Director of the Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science. He has been a great mentor to many students and is always ready with an industry connection when a student is looking for that first internship. We will not miss the opportunity to interview Andy Waterhouse for the next newsletter and to honor him next May (2023), with a seminar honoring his career at UC Davis!
