The Associate Director, Campus Core Facilities (MSP V) position has been posted. 

Brief Description: 
This is a two-year contract position with possibility of extension or transition to career depending on funding availability. 
Under direction of the Vice Chancellor and working closely with the faculty Director of Core Facilities, responsible for administering campus-wide core facilities that support the research mission of the campus; coordinate and integrate the various resources that are available through the Core Facilities; implement a faculty-led strategy to create an efficient and effective organizational structure for state-of-the-art UC Davis Core Research Facilities and Resources ("core facilities"). Work closely with the leadership of individual research cores to ensure the quality and affordability of research services and accountability for the day-to-day business operations of the core facilities program. Participate in planning, continuing the integration of the facilities, identifying and implementing best practices; manage budgets, and assist with hiring and cross-training of employees in the various facilities. Foster good communication with leadership of the various Cores across the Davis Campus; develop and maintain a website. Insure all rates are accurate and assist with developing new rates.
