Ben Golomb, a recent FSGG PhD graduate and member of the Marco lab, was just awarded the Max Kleiber Graduate Research Prize for his PhD thesis, and will be acknowledged at the 2016 Graduate Studies Honors and Awards Ceremony on May 23. One of Bens thesis research papers was just published in Nature Scientific Reports. This paper shows how probiotic Lactobacillus and the indigenous microbiota adapt for growth in the small intestine.
