Soilless agricultural plant production has advanced in recent years to where it is possible to grow plants with much greater precision than ever before, at greater rates of productivity. This presentation will focus on recent advances in soilless plant production in protected cultivation systems, utilizing new tools such LED lighting and photovoltaic electric power generation. Current application to indoor plant production will be discussed.
